Electronics applications are growing exponentially everywhere. The heat density is getting too high for conventional cooling solutions.

In 2019, Wieland Provides launched the department of Micro-Technologies for the development and testing of micro heat exchangers and electronic cooling systems.

 

The lab fully dedicates 80 m2 of space for test facilities on micro heat exchangers, thermosyphon and pulsating heat pipe systems. All major products are realized through micro-manufacturing methods.

 

The Micro-Technologies Department is currently involved in two international projects funded by the European Community, and several more private ones.
